Virtual
Sites
|
|
|
signz
uses a concept know as Virtual Sites to allow a number of sites to be
interlinked. There are several different uses for this feature:
|
|
|
|
Non-standard sized sites: For example, a
site may be 6m by 4m when the industry standard is 6 by 3. Virtual
sites allows you to list the site (with different site numbers and costs)
under both sizes.
|
|
|
|
Joining smaller sites into a larger site:
You may have several 6m by 3m sites that you wish to join together some
times. Virtual Sites allows you to advertise the 6x3 sites
individually and also advertise a 12x3 or 6x6 site. Several sites
could be joined to make a 18x3 as well as a 12x3 from three 6x3 sites.

The example shown here has several sites that have been linked together - a
pair of 6x3 sites that have been linked to form a 6x6 site that is also
advertised as an 18x6 and a 'bridge'.
Various combinations can be made to suit the users purpose however
most will be dual layer - several smaller sites combining into one
larger unit.
Once the sites are linked to together all of the site availabilities are
inter-linked. |
|

 |
The example below shows that this site (the 6x6 in this
case) has been sold for Feb-2004 but one of the other sites has been sold
for January and May.
With the above example each of the 6x3 sites can be sole to
different clients as long as non of the 'parent' sites is in
use. If either of these 6x3 sites is sold, however,
then none of the parent sites will be available for that period.
If any of the parent sites are sold then both 6x3 sites (and all
other parents) will be marked as unavailable. |

A site 'wizard' is
now available for people who often create multi-panel setups such as
buses.
