signz was initially designed with fixed billboards in mind and so much of
the emphasis in the documentation and screens is on billboards. The
majority of the sites managed by our current customers are fixed sites and
so this is reflected in the design. Only a handfull of mobile sites
are in use at present.
However, signz can just as easily turn it hand to buses, taxis and other media. Except for the mobile nature of a bus, for example, there is often little difference in the requirements of the operator - the same types of charges usually apply, I still have a to pay the bus owner in much the same way. |

signz can use the concept of Virtual Sites to set
up a bus in the system as both the individual panels (back, sides etc) and
an entry for the whole bus if required. In this way you can search the
availability for panels of a certain size / type that are available as well
as keeping a search list of available buses. Book the panels and the
'bus' becomes unavailable and vice versa.
