signz stores location information for each site as part of the site profile.  In NZ this is an NZ Map Grid co-ordinate.  In the rest of the world we can use either longitude and latitude (for absolute positions) or street map references for local information.

This location information is then used in many ways:

- Interfacing with web based services such as Wises in New Zealand.  See this sample ... View map

 - Generation of 'relative' mapping within signz tools.  This can be be used in many different ways to view sites information such as availability during a given period, site usage by contract, size etc.  See 'what's close' for examples.

Future products may add true GIS capabilities to the mapping.  As the availability of data varies from country to country, this feature (and the cost) will be dictated by local needs.
