DWreports

 
DWreports is supplied with the SIGNZ Sales Analysis module as an easy way for non-technical users to get access to sales data, both future and historical. 

DWreports directly queries the SIGNZ Data Warehouse (hence the "DW") database so reports are able to be retrieved very quickly.

The DWreports program consists of a single screen with 2 tabs.

The first contains a list of "standard" reports than can be retrieved with just a few clicks:

To view a list of future sales by Sales Rep simply select the top option then click the View button at the bottom of the screen.  (Alternatively, you can click the Preview tab at the top).

DWreports will wizz off and grab the data and return it into a 'grid:

To change the report details (like how many months to view) just click back on the Options tab.

At the bottom of the screen are buttons that will let you Print the current data or to export the data (exactly as you see it) to an Excel spreadsheet and fire up Excel.  By exporting to Excel you can then easily add a chart or two, change to layout, fonts etc.
 
For more advanced users or for reports that are not currently part of the "standard" list you need to use the "Selected Fields" option on the first tab.  Continue ... 

As DWreports was designed to be for entry-level users there is currently no ability to 'filter' data (ie. exclude certain areas, sizes etc).  For this you can use a Pivot Table.
